Albion by Amy Smart of Diary of a Quilter

I feel so lucky to have grown up in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains in Utah. Trips up the nearby canyons and trails are one of my favorite activities and forms of therapy. One of my favorite places of all is Albion Basin at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon. I learned to ski there in winter when I was young, but it’s even more glorious in the summer when the whole basin, created by surrounding mountain peaks, is filled with pine trees, running creeks, a few lakes, and meadows of wildflowers. It’s almost heaven. The Albion collection was created to try and capture some of the mountain summer magic where we love to camp and hike. I collaborated again with my sister, Laura Miller (@lauramiller.studio), to capture some of the wildflower mystique we love in the Utah mountains.
