Front Porch by Jill Finley

My mom was a terrific gardener. Our flower beds were filled with beautiful color and texture. I remember what is was like to climb to the top of our steep driveway and be greeted by lines of tulips and roses in the front flower beds. They made me happy. Mom would be there on her knees with a smile on her face, working in the flower beds.

This collection feels like home. It speaks to waiting and watching for new creation to pop up. For the planning and planting – the effort and the end result. I think quilting is a lot like that. We plan, and work and watch as we create. I hope you can enjoy the working and effort it takes to make a quilt as well as the finished product. I hope it brings you pleasure – like being at home.
