    Hi Lori,
I’ve been following your YouTube series on Crochet Circles. I was wondering if the pattern for your Sqcircle (circle square) is available for purchase.

I’ve even tried to write it down as you worked through the different steps. But as I try to read it back while I’m crocheting it is just very very confusing!!! 🫤

I really want to crochet a twin size coverlet for my Granddaughter. I’ve tried to memorize the steps but I always skip a step or I get frustrated because my notes are just jumbled up.

Please let me know if the pattern is available for purchase.

    A fan,
    Thank you very much!!!

I never found the written instructions anywhere online, so I took notes from the YouTube video and wrote up the pattern myself. Here’s my notes:

      Granny Circle – Crochet Pattern

Setup -Slip Stitch and chain stitch 5st.
Slip stitch into first chain stitch to create a circle,

1st Round – Chain 3st. Double crochet into circle, chain 1 (1st set), *2 Double Crochet Sts, Chain 1 (set)* repeat *set* until 6 total sets.
Join with a slip stitch in the top of the first 3 st chain. End that color by cutting working yarn and pulling a loop through the last loop on hook. (Leave a tail long enough to weave in.)

2nd Round – Switch to new yarn by doing either a slip stitch or single crochet stitch into any of the spaces. Single Crochet Stitch and Chain 2 for the first stitch. Or Slip Stitch and Chain 3 for the first stitch.
In the same space, double crochet stitch, chain 1 (1st set) and 2 double crochet (2nd set) No chain 1.
*Skip to next space. 2 Double crochet stitch, chain 1, 2 Double Crochet in the same space.* (This is a set)
Repeat ** until there are 12 sets around
On the last set join with a slip stitch in the top of the 2 or 3 st chains from the first stitch. End that color by cutting working yarn and pulling a loop through the last loop on hook. (Leave a tail long enough to weave in.)
You now have a hexagon shape.

3rd Round (Final for this tutorial) – Switch to new yarn by doing either a slip stitch or single crocher stitch into any of the spaces. Single Stitch and Chain 2 for the first stitch. Or Slip Stitch and Chain 3 for the first stitch.
In the same space, 2 double crochet stitch. (with 1st set of 3 chain sts or single crochet and 2 chain sts. this makes a 3 double crochet stitch set), Chain 1
*Skip to next space. 3 double crochet stitches and chain 1 (set)*
Repeat ** until there are 12 sets around
After the last chain 1 stitch, join with a slip stitch in the top of the 2 or 3 st chain from the first stitch.
End the final color by cutting working yarn and pulling a loop through the last loop on hook. (Leave a tail long enough to weave in. )
      Weave all ends.
