Rainbow Inspired Quilt using Sparkler Basics

Springing into Colors with Sparkler Fabric.

Are you tired of the gray skies and chilly winds? Well, I’ve got just the thing to sprinkle some sunshine into your life: a rainbow-inspired quilt!

Hi, I’m Sandy from Thai Charm LLC. Join me on a colorful adventure as we escape the winter blues while unleashing our inner creative spirit.

Cabin Blossom Quilt

Cabin Blossom Quilt was inspired by a traditional log cabin quilt block. It’s beginner friendly and fat quarter friendly, so you can have fun picking your fabrics.

I designed this Cabin Blossom quilt pattern in the middle of winter, when the winter’s chill got me down. I was dreaming of spring and snuggle up with some vibrant quilts.

One thing I love about this quilt is that it made of big blocks, which means fewer seams, faster finishes, and eye-catching designs that make a statement.

We’re all about embracing simplicity and maximizing impact.

Colors shown (on the right) here are Pina Colada, Baby Pink, Apricot Blush, Rose, Lilac, Orchid and Eggplant.

I used 24 fat quarters and 1 yard of background fabric for this version. It’s a generous throw size, finished at 75″ square. If you haven’t tried chain-piecing, I encourage your to give it a try.
It will make the piecing go a lot faster.

With the simplicity of this Cabin Blossom Quilt, you will have your quilt top done in no time.

I opted for more detailed motif for quilting, called “Classy Clam” by Karlee Porter Design. With Sparkler fabric, it allowed me to show off the quilting design without being distracted busy prints. Here are some close-up photos to show you the textures.
