Hush Hush 5 in Log Cabins

Hey, hey! It’s Sarah of Sarah Jean Makes! If you know me, you know I love a blender print. I’m a sucker for a little something special in my fabrics, without too much busyness. The collection of low volume blenders in the Hush Hush collection is right up my alley!

I’ve been itching to return to some classic quilt blocks lately, and working with this collection felt like the perfect opportunity to play. I opted to use the Log Cabin block for this project, incorporating some contrast colors from the Sparkler collection.

I used 2.5 inch strips for the Log Cabin blocks, switching fabric as I made each half rotation around the center. I just love how quickly it came together and how classic it is. I definitely will be using more Log Cabin construction in my next projects – it’s so fun!
