Let’s Wander with Sunday Morning Quilt – Rolie Polie Friendly Pattern

There’s something magical about starting a Sunday morning with a slow stretch and a heart ready for wandering. I picture a quiet trail, sunlight through tall trees, and the sound of a gentle stream nearby. That peaceful sense of adventure is what drew me to the Let’s Wander collection by Casey Cometti for Riley Blake Designs.

Exploring Nature Through the Let’s Wander Collection

Hello, Friends! It’s Sandy from Thai Charm here. When I first discovered Let’s Wander, I knew right away I wanted to turn those soft, nature-inspired prints into something calm and effortless, much like a quiet Sunday morning.

Rolie Polie (or Jelly Roll) Friendly and Easy to Piece

From that idea came the Sunday Morning Quilt, a jelly roll friendly project that’s both simple to piece and full of charm. As you work through each strip, you can slow down and truly enjoy the process, all while creating something that feels peaceful, comforting, and made with care.

I used the leftover strips from my jelly roll to make a scrappy binding, and honestly, it might be my favorite part. In the end, it adds such a playful edge to the quilt while also tying all the prints together in a fun and effortless way.

Here’s a look at my finished Sunday Morning Quilt made with the Let’s Wander collection. I love how the mix of colors brings that quiet, outdoorsy feeling right into the room. The simple layout lets each print shine while creating a cozy rhythm across the quilt. The pattern will be available soon, so be sure to sign up for my newsletter to be the first to know when it’s released.

As sunlight fills my studio, I can almost see this quilt draped over a hammock or packed for a peaceful picnic. Let’s Wander reminds me that every quilt begins with a story, and each stitch carries us somewhere new. I hope each stitch brings you calm, joy, and that cozy feeling only handmade can give.

Happy Quilting!
