I’m so excited to introduce you to one of my newest quilt patterns: Beary Bunch! This playful design is packed with personality, charm, and color. Designed for anyone who loves modern quilting with a sweet twist. It’s a joyful mix of soft pastels, vibrant solids, and the cutest bear blocks you ever did sew.

The Beary Bunch Quilt Pattern brings all of that together in a candy-colored dream, as a tonal quilt that feels like a pastel treat which sews up with so much personality.

Sweet, Soft, and Seriously Adorable

This version of Beary Bunch is soft, sweet, and packed with playful charm. The bear blocks shine in coordinated trios of color, each one wrapped in a pastel background and layered with juicy solids that make every block pop.

The palette is modern and fresh, but the layout keeps it approachable and fun to piece. Each bear feels like a little character in a candy-colored quilt parade, and trust me… you’ll find yourself smiling at them as you sew.

A Tonal Trio Treat

Each block in this quilt uses three colors from the same color family: a pastel for the background, paired with two deeper shades that give the bear shape and definition. It’s like layering flavors… soft, sweet, and just the right amount of bold.

Bear Blocks Wrapped in Pastel Hugs

At the heart of this pattern is the Original Bear Block… complete with squared-off paws, round ears, and the kind of face that somehow feels expressive and sweet all at once. There are no templates or specialty techniques, just straightforward piecing that’s easy to follow and satisfying to stitch.

Each block has a personality of its own, and when they’re all together, they form a quilt that’s cheerful, cohesive, and totally huggable.

The quilt finishes at a large throw size, perfect for reading nooks, play spaces, nursery walls, or couch snuggles with your favorite snack (gummy bears totally optional).

A Sweet Pop of Personality

Hidden among the bunch is one Love Bear, stitched in Petal Pink, a quiet little detail that brings just a bit more heart to the quilt. It’s subtle but special, and one of my favorite design choices.

While the palette leans soft, this quilt is anything but plain. It’s a celebration of tonal contrast, intentional color play, and the pure joy of sewing something sweet and full of charm.
