Mistletoe and Holly Tree Skirt

Hey, hey! It’s Sarah of Sarah Jean Makes and I’m so excited for Christmas in the summertime! In all honesty, Christmas is my favorite holiday and time of year. I love when the world gets a little kinder, a bit more jolly, and there’s thoughtfulness and generosity in the air. This new collection, called Mistletoe and Holly, by Beverly McCullough, beautifully showcases all of the sweet and simple bits of this most festive time of year.

I fell in love with the Wreath print in the collection and found it was perfect for fussy cutting all of the cute imagery associated with the holiday. Tiny deer, little kittens wrapped up in bows, ornaments, and decorated trees were all begging to be showcased. I framed the wreaths using the Floral prints in Brick Red and Forest colorways to create sawtooth stars and then spliced the Main print of the collection within alternate wedges. The tree skirt came out looking so festive! From far away, it almost gives a peppermint look!
