Patchwork Duffle with Sunny Skies

Hey there! It’s Daisi Toegel here! In this post, I want to share with you the Patchwork Duffle Bag I made using the beautiful collection called Sunny Skies by Jill Finley.

I love this collection not only because of the dainty prints but also because of the colors! Green, yellow, blue, and white are the colors of my birth country flag, Brazil, so I love everything in these colors.

The different prints that you can see in this collection make it possible to fit the theme into basically any project.

To make the most of the different prints available in this collection, I decided to make the Patchwork Duffle Bag by Knot and Thread so I could make a traditional square patchwork to use them all!

I am so satisfied with the beautiful color balance of all the prints and colors in this collection.

I used foam to make my duffle so it’s sturdy to accommodate my clothes and extras for the upcoming road trips.

I used some other Riley Blake Designs basics fabrics to blend details such as the zipper binding, lining, pockets binding, and handles.

I hope you enjoyed seeing more details of this project and that this post inspires you to create with Sunny Skies!

Thank you for checking this post.
