Introducing Bayhill Studio’s Debut Collection, Copacetic!

We are so excited for Julia Frazier of Bayhill Studio’s debut collection, Copacetic! Julia is a long-time friend at Riley Blake Designs and we can’t wait to sew with her very first collection.

Copacetic is a word we used often in the 70’s and 80’s.

It means “satisfactory or agreeable.” Instead of saying “That’s cool,” we would say, “That’s copacetic.” After finishing the first design of this fabric line, the word “copacetic” popped into my mind, and it stuck! The retro color palette and minimalist motifs are born from my love of Scandinavian design, and inspired by my very groovy 70’s childhood. This fun combination blends past and present, creating a bold, yet timeless aesthetic.
