My name is Vickeidy, and I am the hands and heart behind @sewspicious. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, I now call NYC home. My quilting journey began in 2017 when I started refurbishing vintage sewing machines. That’s when I stumbled upon a Singer 221 and learned it’s considered the ideal machine for quilters. Curious, I googled “quilting” and instantly fell in love with the craft. In 2018, I set a New Year’s resolution to start quilting, and I’ve been hooked ever since. By 2022, I began designing and writing my own quilt patterns. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for vibrant, bold colors and intricate patterns, which are reflected in my work. I’d describe my personal style as modern quilting, blending traditional techniques with fresh, contemporary designs.

Aloha! I’m Toni Wass of Tiger Textiles. I started sewing with help from my Mom (aren’t Mom’s the BEST??!!) at the age of five with simple embroidery and creating random things that tickled my fancy. My projects were mostly clothes until I opened a fabric store and was suddenly thrown into the world of quilting. I had stitched a few quilt blocks prior to this, but, that’s when things got real! Having always enjoyed travel, after a few years I moved to an online platform that allowed me a more flexible schedule. Eventually I bought a long arm quilting machine and moved my studio to Hawaii where I teach sewing, quilting and bag making classes. I’m active on many levels in the quilting and sewing community.. locally with quilt guilds and Chairing/Co-chairing the quilt show, as well as traveling to the mainland with my sewing machine for quilt camps, and internationally (most recently to Scotland) for a sewing retreats. I enjoy making bags and still find joy in hand embroidery in the form of Sashiko. With all of these combined, I would best describe my style as bohemian. A little bit of everywhere I go is mixed into what I make. I believe that it is our job as seasoned quilters and sewists to be good stewards of the stitching community and cultivate our craft for future generations.
Hi, I’m Tamara Darragh, the heart and hands behind Remi Vail Studio, based in Minnesota, where I live with my husband and two fur babies, Tellee and Corduroy. For the past 15 years, quilting has been my creative outlet and connection to the world of handmade. My cozy, modern aesthetic blends soft, earthy tones with textures and fabrics that evoke warmth, heritage, and a connection to nature and each other. I love working with woven fabrics, timeless prints, and playful details that tell a story. My goal is always to create pieces that feel loved, lived in, and meaningful. Through my brand, Remi Vail Studio, I share quilt and bag patterns, projects, and tutorials that empower makers to weave their own memories into fabric. I hope to inspire others to find joy in the process and connect with the beauty of handmade work. When I’m not sewing, you’ll find me digging in my garden, dyeing fabric with plants, or dreaming up my next creative project. xo, Tamara

My name is Andrea, I am a sewing educator and pattern designer who is also known as The Domesticated Engineer. I am an Atlanta native who started sewing in middle school home economics and never stopped. With a background in engineering and a love of fabric, I enjoy designing sewing projects that solve all of life’s little problems. I love working with natural fibers and making use of scraps and reclaimed materials. I am passionate about helping sewists build confidence in their craft, use what they have, and find joy in creating beautiful items with their own hands.
My name is Elizabeth Joyce Judd, and I grew up in Southeast Idaho. I now live in St. George, Utah with my husband where we are raising our five children. My mom is an incredible seamstress, she taught me how to sew when I was young. I can remember her helping me sew up a shirt and shorts I wore with pride. When I went to college, I took a sewing class with her, where I made a blessing dress for my newborn, a coat, bibs, and a baby quilt. It was in that class that I fell in love with quilting. While my kids were little, I made a few quilts, but my quilting hobby took a backseat for a while. In 2021, my sister and mom invited me to attend the Garden of Quilts retreat in Lehi, Utah. I left the retreat with a new Bernina sewing machine and a renewed passion for quilting. These days, most of my projects are done while I FaceTime with my sister, working on projects together. We are both excited to be starting a long-arm quilting business together. I’m sentimental by nature and have a love for vintage items and the stories they tell. Each project I make has a story and I love the memories that they carry.

I’m Rachel Tomlinson but on social media I go by Stitch With Rachel, I am quilting and fabric obsessed and always have more projects than I care to count on the go. I have always been a creative person, trying my hand at lots of different crafts over the years. I was born in Birmingham (UK) and this is where I have since settled. I first started to learn how to English paper piece around five years ago and I have been completely hooked ever since. I enjoy working with soft floral fabrics but really I am a sucker for most fabrics, and let’s not discuss the secret fabric drawer under my bed!
Hi, I’m Mary Burroughs-Mayer, the maker and designer behind Ember Craft Company. I live in Northern California with my husband and our 4-year-old twins. I began quilting in 2020 after the twins arrived. I had gone from a fast-paced finance job to being a stay-at-home, first-time mom as the pandemic began. To say the transition was rough would be an understatement. A quilting show randomly came on during this time and I was instantly hooked. It was something I could do at home while the babies were sleeping, something of my own again when it felt like everything else was out of my control. I swiftly went from participating in quilt-alongs, to pattern testing, and most recently to writing my own patterns! I published my first quilt pattern in January of 2024, and haven’t looked back. I love taking classic blocks and adding a modern spin to the design. I’ve got several more patterns in the hopper and I can’t wait to share them with you all. You’ll find me sewing with lots of solids, but I never turn down a gorgeous floral print!

Hello, I’m Shereece Nicole! My quilting journey began in 2010 out of boredom. I was living in a new, small town and I was looking to meet new people. Thanks to a local program, I started to learn to crochet. Then I was reintroduced to quilting (the “correct” way). My travels and everyday life began to inspire patterns I wanted to create. And now, I’m sharing those designs with you and teaching quilting skills I’ve learned along the way.
I help busy, modern quilters maximize their sewing time by providing quicker patterns and time saving tips so you can turn off the sewing machine feeling accomplished.
Hi, I’m Zaineb! I grew up outside of Detroit, Michigan and currently live the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. I started quilting about 10 years ago when I came across an adorable jelly roll online. I purchased the jelly roll without knowing much about quilting because the fabric was too cute to pass up. I started watching Youtube videos about quilting and getting books from the library. I feel in love with the process and quickly became addicted to the satisfaction of finishing a project. I’d describe my personal style as scrappy and bright. I love mixing colors and prints in a project.

I’m Sarah Cain of Sarah Jean Makes! I’m a modern quilt pattern designer who is inspired by the energy and aesthetic of the city of San Francisco, where I live with my family. I mix bright colors, bold shapes, high contrast elements, and incorporate a variety of skills in my creations. I began my making journey as most makers do, dabbling here and there across mediums until finding something that sticks. I made my first quilt when pregnant with my son and fell in love with the craft. Since then, I have been expanding my skill set beyond quilt making and enjoy adding a pop of color and vibrancy to all of my makes. You can learn more about what I do at my website below, or follow me on Instagram!
Hello crafty frens! I’m ShayShay, the creative crafter behind CraftingonAdimewithShayShay. My journey hasn’t been a straight line; it’s been a beautiful patchwork of cultures and experiences. As a proud military spouse, I spent years traveling the globe with my husband (now a retired Army Veteran) and our two boys. Those years on the move taught me that ‘home’ is wherever you create it—and for me, home is always filled with thread and fabric.
Now settled in the heart of Texas—where everything really is bigger—I’ve turned my lifelong passion for Quilting, Sewing, and Embroidery (QSE) into a mission. I specialize in the intricate world of In The Hoop (ITH) projects.
I started my YouTube channel because I believe that beautiful, high-quality crafting shouldn’t break the bank. My philosophy is simple: Sharing is caring. I’m here to empower you with the skills to create unique, heartfelt projects while ‘crafting on a dime.’ Let’s paint the world together, one stitch at a time!

My name is Sandy, and I am the maker, longarm quilter, and designer behind Thai Charm LLC. I was born and raised in a little town near Bangkok, Thailand. But I now live with my husband , 2 girls and a 10-year-old Australian shepherd here in Minnesota. I am a self-taught quilter, started out of curiosity and fell in love with every process of making heirloom quilts that would last and pass on to the next generation. I love colors and floral prints, and I find that the combination of those makes my dream quilts! Traditional piecing is my favorite technique, but I like to add a little bit of modern spin to my designs to fit with our home decor, or even our clothing. There’s always a way to add quilted items to everything!
Hi! My name is Beth Reeves, and I am a maker based in Houston, Texas. Creativity has been a constant presence in my life, inspired from an early age by my incredible mom, a watercolor artist and stained glass maker. My journey into fiber arts began in elementary school, when my godmother, Helen, taught me how to knit and crochet. In 2020, I discovered quilting after helping my sister sew masks during the pandemic, a moment that sparked a creative path I continue to follow with gratitude and excitement. I am fortunate to come from a family of talented quilters. My great-aunt Ruth and my aunt Helen have both been invaluable sources of inspiration and mentorship throughout my quilting journey. My work is characterized by bright colors, playful and whimsical designs, and a love of experimenting with new techniques. I am an active member of the Houston Modern Quilt Guild and find great joy in sewing and creating alongside friends, both in person and virtually. Outside of quilting and sewing I love to junk journal, take photos, exercise, cook, bake & explore coffee shops!

My name is Sara Fernandez and I grew up in Spain where I learned the basics of sewing from my grandmother, who was a talented seamstress. When I was 16, I was volunteering in the school library and expressed an interest in learning how to quilt. The librarian said ‘well, you’re in luck, because I am the president of the local quilters’ guild’ – true story! She taught me traditional piecing, FPP and basic quilting skills, and I got to play with her very large fabric stash. Since then, quilting is where I’ve spent most of my creative energy. I love working with bright colours and fun prints, and big medallion quilts are my favourite thing. I live in Oxford (UK), where I get to teach quilting and share the love of fabric with other people.

Hi! I’m Jenny, from Jenny Sims Makes Things. I am a self-taught sewist living in Connecticut with my husband and three children. I have a BFA in graphic design, but I realized while in school that I much prefer to make things with my hands instead of on a computer. I’ve always had an artistic soul, growing up in dance and theatre, then photography and graphic design, eventually discovering cross stitch, embroidery, and knitting. I saw an online friend make an English paper piecing quilt, which really intrigued me, so I very slowly started my own. While pregnant in 2018 I made my middle child an EPP baby quilt, and the rest is history. I’ve been totally hooked since then! You can find me in my sewing room during naptime and after bedtime, always with a cup of hot tea and an audiobook. I love color, texture, florals, and trying new things, and I’m very excited to have a good excuse to create more this year as an RBD Influencer!
Hi! I’m Jess, the gal behind Coral Bunny and Lo. I’m a wife, homeschool mom to a sweet girl, and I love Jesus, sewing, bunnies, coffee, tacos, and all things Texas. My family and I love supporting local, small businesses in Dallas, Fort Worth, and all the cities in between. You’ll often find me at a local bookstore or a hobby store of some sort.
I have been sewing my entire life. My mother was a talented seamstress and sewed many of her garments. She taught me to sew, and my nanny taught me to knit and crochet. I had the best-dressed Barbie dolls! I learned to quilt in college, which influenced me to take a few courses in textiles and design. After a short hiatus, I returned to sewing as a creative outlet on my days off. I studied under a retired atelier for a couple of years and learned couture techniques. I now enjoy sharing various tips and techniques that I’ve learned over the years with others. I teach beginner, garment, kids, and bag classes at a few local quilt shops. I love seeing the community and friendships that form in the classroom.

Hello, I am Kelly R. Kirkland, a San Antonio, Texas based modern quilt pattern designer, illustrator and daydreamer of joyful, nostalgic and playful at heart designs. With a wittily creative, but simply sophisticated approach my goal is to artfully create sewing projects that bring joy. In 2017, I started sewing, after my grandmother who introduced me to the quilting world, suddenly passed away with complications from Alzheimers disease. Her passion for sewing and quilting has blossomed into my passion, and just like she shared with me, I want to share with you all the joys sewing and quilting brings.
Hello from Canada! My name is Karlyn Leslie and I am the sole-proprietor of Charlie Bear Quilts. Born and raised in Manitoba (picture an endless patchwork of prairie fields), my love of sewing started young. I have been sewing “seriously” for 18 years… it all started with “Quilting 101” at Tiger Lily Quilts in Saskatchewan. Needless to say, I fell in love and it sparked the creative part of me that had been dormant for a while. I love to design, sketch, quilt, hold and pet fabric. I am opening myself up to dream MORE, so this fun adventure with Riley Blake Designs is exquisitely timed! My heart is drawn to the pinks and creams of my childhood bedroom, ditsy florals and soft prints. I yearn for cozy quilts, those cabin vibes that bring a sense of nostalgic calm. I love to create pieces of art that become the focal point of a room, but can also be swept around your shoulders for an afternoon of reading. I want to create happiness through quilting because I think it is the greatest gift of comfort in this fast-paced world.

Hi! I’m Katie, the owner of Modern Textiles, based in Alexandria, Minnesota. Quilting has been a creative constant in my life, and what started as a love for fabric and design has grown into a space where I get to help others bring their quilts to life—one stitch at a time.

I love working on all kinds of projects, from clean and minimal to playful and a little quirky. I’m endlessly inspired by the stories and creativity behind every quilt top that arrives in my studio.

I believe quilting should feel fun, creative, and meaningful! Hope to see you out on the interwebs—or in person!
