Imagine sewing, learning, and exploring beautiful batik traditions while sailing through Southeast Asia with fellow quilters. In January 2027, we are setting sail on an RGE Travels cruise with Quilt Addicts Anonymous to host a one-of-a-kind quilting adventure at sea!

This 12-night Batik Cruise will take you from Singapore through Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia while connecting you with incredible textile traditions, inspiring instructors, and a community of quilters who love fabric as much as you do.

Who can attend the Batik Cruise?

Anyone who loves quilting, sewing, textiles, or travel is welcome to join. While quilting experiences are part of the event, guests are also free to simply enjoy the cruise and destinations.

Do I need to be an experienced quilter?

Not at all. Demonstrations and workshops are designed for a range of skill levels, from newer quilters to experienced makers.

Will there be quilting classes onboard?

Yes. On sea days, guests can attend teaching demonstrations featuring quilting techniques used in exclusive patterns designed for the cruise. Additional optional classes may also be available.

Do I need to bring a sewing machine?

Details about optional Retreat at Sea classes and sewing machine availability will be announced closer to the cruise date.

How do I book the cruise?

All bookings must be made through the official travel partner RGE Travels in order to participate in the group quilting events. 

How much does the cruise cost?
