Strength in Every Stitch – Blocks 3 & 4

It’s time to stitch up blocks 3 & 4 of our Strength in Every Stitch quilt! This sew along celebrates our Hush Hush 5 collection and it’s not just about creating a beautiful quilt; it’s about the resilience, patience, and dedication stitched into each block. It’s about community support, love, and remembering how far you’ve come. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just starting out, each stitch will remind you of the strength within you. We can’t wait to make this quilt with you!

November 14th: Blocks 3 & 4

Today we are sewing the Embolden block by Sandy Gervais and the Prairie Hearth block by Modern Prairie.

If you missed our announcement post you might be wondering why we made two sizes of Block 2. You will notice that our fabric requirements page lists yardage requirements and cutting directions to make two sizes of each block pattern. This quilt pattern is designed to feature twelve 12″ blocks and five 6″ blocks. We have fourteen block designs for you! Our intention is that you can make this quilt truly unique by selecting the placement and size of all of your blocks. You can choose which designs will be larger blocks and which will be the smaller framed blocks. 

If you want to make your quilt exactly as we have, then you will want to make a 12″ block version of Blocks 1-12 and 6″ block version of Blocks 2,3,6,13,& 14. We indicate those blocks for you on the cutting guide with an * symbol. To help you decide about your layout we have all the block patterns available to you at the start! Feel free to sew along with us according to our schedule below or at your own pace.
