Candy Grab Quilt- POParazzi Basics

Hi fellow makers! Luci here from Sea Garden Sewing, writing to share my most recent quilty make. I decided to make my Candy Grab quilt in cool colors, which diverges from my usual pull to use warm colors in quilts. I decided to use POParazzi basics for all of my fabrics. They give the fun of a basic/print but still read as solid to show off whatever pattern you decide to make.

If you like Half-Square Triangles or would like to practice new skills like snowballed corners, Candy Grab is a great quilt pattern for you to try! This quilt was made using the yardage version but there is also a Fat-Quarter friendly version written into the pattern as well.

Once the Half-Square Triangles and snowballed corner blocks are prepped, the actual quilt comes together pretty quickly.

Because the blocks create a secondary pinwheel design when the blocks are sewn together, I like to use clips to ensure that my blocks are lined up prior to sewing them together.

Here are some pictures of the completed quilt!

Thank you so much for taking a look! If you’d like to see more of my quilting projects, you can follow me on Instagram at @SeaGardenSewing. If you’re interested in the Candy Grab quilt pattern, you can take a look at my shop.
