Hello my fibre friends! It’s Shereece Nicole of Sew Hooked on Treasures here to invite you to THE coolest quilty party coming to you in September!

Join me and three other amazing designers as we host the Great Jelly Roll Bash, sponsored in part by Riley Blake Designs. We’ve got five brand new patterns that are all rolie polie friendly. We’ll be doing a live virtual event on September 20 with sewing, games, prizes and sew much more!

This year, I’m bringing you Born & Raised featuring the Ohio Star. It’s my home state, hence the name. I created the cover version in Blush & Butterscotch. If you attend the live event on September 20, we’ve got a rolie polie as a prize.

Technically, you don’t need a rolie polie for this quilt, so because I’m a Buckeye, I have to do another version in scarlet and gray (if you know, you know!). I did the mock-up below to get me inspired. With all the new Confetti Cottons and other fabulous RBD Basics, this will be super fun to bring together! Stay tuned…

There are so many options with this pattern! Have fun exploring different rolie polies you have in your stash or maybe there’s a new one you have your eye on. Maybe you have some yardage in your fabric collection that you’d rather use. Don’t be afraid to have fun with it! Here are just a few ideas…

Tip: Here is my favorite way to remove the lint from any precut! Whether you’re using layer cakes, charm packs, rolie polies… It doesn’t matter! This is way better than your clothes carrying the lint.
