QuiltCon 2026 - Here we Come! -

Can you believe QuiltCon is next week?! We are so excited for the first event of the year and to get to hang out with all of YOU!

If you’re coming to QuiltCon this year be sure to stop by the RBD booth (#31) for some FUN. We have a fabulous line up of demos for you and we always love to meet new friends. Our booth will be filled to the brim with color and fabric and notions.

Come by to check out Batiks by Riley Blake Designs in person (you gotta see it to believe it) and to feel our butter-soft Confetti Cottons™️ and see all 300 colors!

Have quilts you want to donate to a great cause? Bring them with you! We will also have a donation box for our friends at Wrap the World with Quilts in our booth.

We know there’s lots to see and shop at QuiltCon. Find our Demo schedule below to you can be sure to add these to your schedule!

I mean… what can we say? These demos are going to be the BEST! On Thursday we kick off with Minki Kim! Minki will be showcasing her Serendipity Panel projects and she’ll be starting at 11:30 but she’ll be going until about 1pm! That leaves plenty of time for you to come and meet her in person and check out her collection storyboards. Come meet Minki Kim!

Following Minki we are so excited to have designer Genesis Hall back in our booth! Genesis is known as @gennyfromthequiltblock and she’s the youngest designer in the industry. Don’t miss your chance to meet her in person! She will be doing a DIY Luggage Tag demo. Such a fun & easy project.

At 2pm we haveLiza Taylor of @lizataylorhandmade! She is a newer designer to RBD and she is an FPP queen! If you want to learn Lightbox FPP, don’t miss this demo!

Rounding out our day we are thrilled to have Alaina Newhouse of @patternedolive doing a demo! Alaina is the designer behind our unforgettable Fashion Show look from last H+H Americas show and she is doing our look again this year. Come by the booth for her demo that will give a little sneak peek into this year’s look!

Friday is another day packed with demos! Kicking off with Christa Watson (@christaquilts) for some Machine Quilting. Come see how it’s done!

Mary Burroughs-Mayer of @embercraftcompany is next with an EPP tutorial. Learn this new skill with her demo!

Following Mary we have Maddie! Maddie is the social media gal here at RBD and she is going to demo the FPP tools from Jillily Studio that she used for our Holiday Confetti Cottons™️ Tree Skirt! FPP can be daunting but guess what? These tools make it easy. This was her first FPP project!

Vickeidy Plybon of @sewspicious will end our Friday demo day by showing you how to put those orphan blocls to good use to upcycle your closet!

Saturday is our last demo day! Porfiria Gomez of @mrsporfiria is joining us for a hand-quilting demo with our new Confetti Cottons™️ thread!

Andrea (@thedomesticatedengineer), Beth (bethmakes__), and Jenny (jennysimsmakesthings) are all new members of our Influencer Team and we are so excited to have them demo this year! Andrea will showcase. Beth is doing a fun fabric washi tape tutorial, and Jenny is showing FPP.
