Strength in Every Stitch Sew Along

Hush Hush 5 is here and is the fifth installment of our popular, designer collaborative, low-volume collection. If you have been here for the last few Hush Hush collections then you know what’s coming… a fabulous sew along!! Read on to preview the collection and learn about this sew along that begins next week!

Our Sew Along quilt is called Strength in Every Stitch. This sew along is not just about creating a beautiful quilt; it’s about the resilience, patience, and dedication stitched into each block. It’s about community support, love, and remembering how far you’ve come. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just starting out, each stitch will remind you of the strength within you. We can’t wait to make this quilt with you!

Fabric Requirements

You will notice that our fabric requirements page lists yardage requirements and cutting directions to make two sizes of each block pattern. This quilt pattern is designed to feature twelve 12″ blocks and five 6″ blocks. We have fourteen block designs for you! Our intention is that you can make this quilt truly unique by selecting the placement and size of all of your blocks. You can choose which designs will be larger blocks and which will be the smaller framed blocks. 

If you want to make your quilt exactly as we have, then you will want to make a 12″ block version of Blocks 1-12 and 6″ block version of Blocks 2,3,6,13,& 14. We indicate those blocks for you on the cutting guide with an * symbol. To help you decide about your layout we have all the block patterns available to you at the start! Feel free to sew along with us according to our schedule below or at your own pace.

The Sew Along Schedule

Beginning on November 7th we will be sewing along with the designers who helped bring this quilt to life! We will share two blocks on every Friday here on the blog and on the RBD social media accounts. Be sure to follow all the participating designers so you don’t miss a thing!
