Star Quilt – A celebration in Fabric✨Poparazzi new colors

Some quilts just seem to glow with their own kind of joy, and this star quilt pattern I got to pattern test by Warm River Quilting Co. is one of them. From the moment I started piecing the first star, I knew this was going to be a quilt that felt alive—with color, movement, and happiness stitched into every block.

The layout is playful and full of surprises. Stars of all sizes scatter across the quilt top, creating a feeling of fireworks bursting in the sky or confetti tossed at a celebration. Larger stars anchor the design, while the smaller ones fill in the spaces, giving the quilt rhythm and balance. It’s a pattern that invites your eyes to wander, always finding something new to notice.

The fabric choice was an easy one. The Poparazzi line is bold, fun, and packed with personality, making it the perfect match for this pattern. Each print shines in its own way—fiery reds and oranges bring warmth, blues and greens lend calm and depth, while pinks and purples add just the right touch of whimsy. Together, the colors create a lively, cohesive quilt that feels both modern and timeless.

Of course, a quilt really comes alive with the quilting, and Warm River Quilting Co. did an incredible job finishing this one. The soft, flowing design stitched across the top gives the quilt texture and movement without overwhelming the stars. It feels like a gentle breeze moving through the night sky—just enough to bring everything together while keeping the stars as the true focus.

I am so excited for this pattern to be released because everyone needs to make it!!! Each block is simple on its own, but when they all come together—different sizes, colors, and personalities—the result is something so much greater than the sum of its parts. It’s a reminder of why we quilt: to play with fabric, to celebrate creativity, and to create something that brings both beauty and comfort into our lives.

Whether it’s hanging outdoors with the sunlight glowing through the fabric or draped across a bed, this quilt radiates warmth and joy. The beautiful new colors in the paparazzi line and this quilt pattern are perfect together! This is the perfect celebration quilt.
