Two by Two- Patchwork Snap Pouch
Hi Makers! It’s Sara from @SaraBQuilts with a fun and fast project you can knock out in less than an afternoon. My young boys asked me to make something that could hold their random arcade prizes, trading cards, and little treasures, so I wanted to make some different sized pouches to hold everything!

Sometimes I am drawn to a fabric collection for its colors and blenders, more than for its main prints! I think it’s a sign of an amazing collection when the supporting fabrics shine just as much as the focal ones! The collection I used is Two by Two by Cayla Naylor and Riley Blake Designs. The greens in the collection are so good and I love the Chasing Rainbows and Happy Rays prints.

As I mentioned, I needed a pouch pattern that had different sizes, so this Patchwork Snap Pouch by Ma & Me was the perfect one! You can find the pattern HERE. There are no zippers to fuss with, just two snaps and you are good to go. My boys love the colorful snaps and I love putting them on!

I used the colors of the Chasing Rainbows in Multi for the inspiration for my striped large pouch. I used the Riley Blake Designs coordinating basic, 1/8” Stripe in Denim, for the top flap and it is a great addition to the collection! For the medium pouch, I used Branchy Bliss in Green and Happy Rays in Green. I imagine all sorts of acorns and leaves tucked away into it. Finally, I made a patchwork small version using all of my favorite prints. I love the Chasing Rainbows in Sky for the flap. It ties it all together!

I am so thrilled with how these pouches turned out and I know my boys will get so much use out of them. Two by Two by Cayla Naylor and Riley Blake Designs is a darling collection, and I can’t wait to see what you make with it!
Happy making!
