Bee Vintage – Sewing Notions

Hello quilty friends, Rachel here from Stitch With Rachel. I felt that it was time to make some sewing accessories for the occasions where I take my sewing outside of the house.

I pulled a selection of Lori Holt’s Bee Vintage fabrics and several By Annie patterns. I have used the Cut it Out pattern to make my scissor case and then the Clam Up pattern to make a pouch to hold my clips.

I really enjoyed making the scissor case, the larger size perfectly fits my scissors and will keep them protected when I travel. The pattern uses a magnetic closure which was really easy to install and gives such a professional finish.

The Clam up pattern is such an addictive pattern, you will find yourself making so many and they do come together pretty quickly once you are familiar with the pattern. I amended the pattern slighly for this version, I decided to add binding around the zip edge rather than doing the suggested zip installation. I followed a video on YouTube on how to do this.

Thank you for following along with this make. Let me know your favourite By Annie pattern in the comments.
Happy Stitching,
Rachel xx
